What does Simm’s Courier Services offer?

Simm’s Courier Services offers door to door delivery services. We pick up the item and deliver it the next day anywhere in Metro Manila and nearby serviceable Provincial areas in Cavite, Laguna, Rizal and Bulacan and 2 to 3 business days for provincial shipments via LBC.

What are your hours of operation?

Simm’s Courier Services is open from 9:00am – 5:00pm, Mondays to Fridays and 9:00am – 3:00 pm on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays and Holidays.

Do you deliver to office addresses on Saturdays?

We only deliver to office addresses from Monday to Friday only.

How do I schedule a pick up?

All you have to do is call, send an SMS or book online with us with your delivery need, Monday – Saturday, and one of our couriers will come and pick up your package. To book for pick up thru SMS or when calling, we need to know the following information:

  • Your complete name and phone number
  • Your Company Name (if office address)
  • Exact name and address of the pick up location
  • Pick up Location Contact Person and phone number
  • Any Special Instructions

How do I open an account with Simm’s Courier Services?

Can I place a pick up or booking if I don’t have an account?

Yes. Just give us a call and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to assist you.

Is there any fee or charge for pick up for the door-to-door delivery services?

No, pick up is free of charge anywhere within Metro Manila and Simm’s Courier Services covered areas in Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite and Rizal.

How many packages do you require for pick up?

There is no minimum amount or number of packages to be pick up.

What is your cut-off time for scheduling a pick up?

Bookings made on or before the cut-off time from Mondays-Saturdays can be picked up by our courier on the same date. If it is booked after cut-off time, it will be picked up the next business day. Cut off for booking for residential address is on or before 1:00 pm while for office address on or before 12:00noon.

Can Simm’s Courier Services pick up items at a specified time by the shipper?

No. But you may still specify a time frame and we’ll do our best to meet the time frame requested, but if we cannot our courier will definitely arrive within the day to pick up your item(s).

How can I cancel or change my delivery/pick up date?

To cancel or make changes on your delivery date, kindly give us a call or an SMS or email us as soon as possible.

What is your transit time for Metro Manila and Provincial deliveries?

For Metro Manila deliveries and Simm’s Courier Services Provincial covered areas, its next business day. While for provincial deliveries transit time is 1-3 business days (excluding Holidays and Sundays) provided that the address is complete and the receiver is available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt. If the address is incomplete, or the consignee is unknown at the given address or the consignee is unavailable to receive the package, this will delay the delivery of the package.

What is your insurance policy for lost/damaged goods?

Simm’s Courier Services maximum liability per shipment is limited to P 5,000. The declared value represents Simm’s Courier Services maximum liability. Any claims for damage or loss must be reported to Simm’s Courier Services within 24 hours of delivery. Loss in excess of the declared value is assumed by the shipper. For shipment with NO DECLARED VALUE, liability of Simm’s Courier Services shall be limited to the refund of freight charged. For shipment with DECLARED VALUE, you pay 1% of the declared value.

How do I track my deliveries?

To track your deliveries, just go to http://simmscourier.com and enter your tracking number into the tracker field.

What are the sizes of your pouch?

We have two (2) sizes of plastic pouches:

  • 9.5 x 14
  • 12 x 18

What if my item does not fit your pouch?

If your item doesn’t fit our pouch, you can use your own packaging. It has to be measured and weighed to get the chargeable weight.

Do you charge by actual or volumetric weight?

We charge by whichever is higher between actual or volumetric weight for that particular package.

How do you compute for volumetric weight?

For Metro Manila and Provincial :
Length (cm) x height (cm) x width (cm) / 3500 = volumetric weight
Example : 15cm x 15cm x 10cm / 3500 = .64kg

How will payment be made for door-to-door shipment or delivery?

Payment should be made upon pick up by our courier. Rates are inclusive of Vat already.

Please explain the “Left Card” service.

This means the courier will ask the receiver to sign for the goods as delivered. If no-one is available to receive the goods, the courier will leave a card at the delivery address, asking them to call Simm’s Courier Services customer service department to organize a re-delivery (or pickup from the depot if they prefer).

Do you organize packaging of goods?

We do not package goods. Product sent with Simm’s Courier Services must be packaged correctly by the shipper and each item correctly addressed, with our air waybill firmly stuck to the goods ready for the pick-up courier to collect. Pick Up drivers may refuse incorrectly packaged or addressed.

What if my parcel is too heavy or too big?

If your parcel is too heavy or too big, we will be pleased to advise you and arrange for the carriage of larger items. Additionally, and for the safety of our couriers, we require notification of shipments since our couriers uses motorcycle only.

What goods won’t you transport?

We will definitely not carry the following :

  • Unpackaged goods
  • Foodstuffs (requiring refrigeration or unpacked/unsealed)
  • Liquids (unless they are sealed, please query with us first)
  • Dangerous Goods (of any class) - e.g. flammable, aerosol cans, hazardous, toxic
  • Illegal drugs and substances
  • Engines/gearboxes/etc, with oil or fuel still inside
  • Pets, livestock
  • Glass items/mirrors
  • Cash

**** We also reserve the right to decline transport of any consignment if we so choose.
